www- There is a lot of potential here:

  • extensive, detailed answers and Q3 shows good focus on
  • the question. with some work on exam technique you will    definitely be pushing into the higher levels/grades.
  • there are good elements in question 4 - discussions.


EBI- Question focus is the key- in Q2 in particular. We'll           look at social and cultural contexts in class- The mark         scheme will also help.

  • revise and add theory to Q1 and Q3.
  • revise industry terminology ( Q2 ) mark scheme will help    with that.
  • question 4 needed media effects theories: read and focus on exactly what the question is asking.
  • question 3, need to not drift into discussion on advertising.

    FEMINIST THEORY: 1) What examples are provided from the two texts of the 'male gaze' (Mulvey)?
